Reiki Reiki is a profoundly relaxing treatment where the client lies fully clothed on a couch. The practitioner lays hands on or above the body, attracting universal energy which is transferred to the client. This has the effect of balancing the client’s energy, promoting self-healing; reducing (and in some cases) eliminating pain. Reiki is a very gentle, non-intrusive, harmless treatment and can be safely administered to clients of all ages from babies to elderly; infirm; disabled. Animals also benefit from Reiki healing and is used on family pets; horses and farm livestock. What conditions does Reiki Treat?
REIKI TUITIONAnyone can easily learn to become a Reiki practitioner. It is quite simply the passing on of an ancient healing ‘recipe’. By a Reiki Master (a practitioner who has completed the third degree). There are three levels of Reiki study: Level One where you learn to use Reiki on yourself, family, friends and your pets. This is usually undertaken over two days and four Reiki ‘attunements’ (the passing on of the healing symbols) are given. Level Two where you learn more about becoming a Reiki practitioner. Again this is undertaken over two days. Two attunements are given and the Reiki symbols are studied. Using the Reiki symbols, the energy can be more accurately directed to the client and projected at a distance (for example, to send healing to someone in hospital; living in another country; or sending healing energy to countries where there are troubles or natural disasters. Level Three where you would be attuned to master degree and shown how to pass Reiki on to others.
